At Wesley United Methodist Church, we Christian Education classes on Sunday mornings for all age groups. More information to come.
Nursery
Taught by Ms. Barb. The babies learn stories of the Bible, sing songs, color and take-home coloring pages. They also have the important job of ringing the bell before church starts. They go on church tours and stock the works box.
God's Little Wonders (ages 7-8)
Taught by Ms. Liz. The children learn fun introduction topics of Christianity based on stories the Bible, God's rules, and do crafts. Lots of fun.
Preteen (ages 9-12)
Taught by Ms. Paula. The preteens learn about various Bible events and follow along with the church schedule - Jesus during his teaching, Good Friday, Easter, the beginning, the books of the Bible, God's Top 10 (10 commandments), etc. Compare the prophecies about Jesus in the Old Testament to the fulfillment of those prophecies in the New Testament. Crafts and activities. Open discussion for the inquiring minds. Children this age have lots of questions and have fun learning and growing closer to Jesus.
Sunday Morning BASH (Young Adults)
Bible and Study Hour: A class for young at heart adults. A class for folks new to us, newer to faith, just dipping their toes in to check it out. This class was originally formed for parents who drop their children off for class, then parents can gather in our relaxed setting. Videos watched and open discussion. A very friendly group.
The Seekers Class (Mature Adults)
A multi-aged group who studies primarily the Bible. Teachings from various authors such as John MacArthur, Video series by Ray Vander Laan, and such. Focus on Biblical lessons for living a Christ-oriented life. Friendly, welcoming group. Discussion format.
The Gold Class (Senior Adults)
God's Older Loving Disciples: Bible education and reflection with senior adults. Starts 9am.
