Classes
At Wesley United Methodist Church, we have Christian Education classes on Sunday mornings at 9:45 for all age groups.
Preschool/Early Elementary
Taught by Ms. Barb. This young group learn stories of the Bible, sing songs, color and take-home coloring pages. They also have the important job of ringing the bell before church starts. They go on church tours and stock the works box.
Preteen (ages 8-12)
Taught by Ms. Paula. The preteens learn about various Bible events and follow along with the church schedule - Jesus during his teaching, Good Friday, Easter, the beginning, the books of the Bible, God's Top 10 (10 commandments), etc. Compare the prophecies about Jesus in the Old Testament to the fulfillment of those prophecies in the New Testament. Crafts and activities. Open discussion for the inquiring minds. Children this age have lots of questions and have fun learning and growing closer to Jesus.
The Seekers Class (Multi-generational adults)
A multi-aged group who studies primarily the Bible. Teachings from various authors such as John MacArthur, Video series by Ray Vander Laan, and such. Focus on Biblical lessons for living a Christ-oriented life. Friendly, welcoming group. Discussion format.
